When schools shut down and I was faced with teaching my 5 year old to read, I didn't have a clue where to start. Dr Taylor was able to quickly assess my son's level and recommend great resources that he finds interesting. Lessons are a mix of reading from books, writing, and word games. Helping parents determine the best path for their child's literacy development.

In this changing landscape parents and educators must be nimble and creative to support continued learning. As teaching early childhood literacy has been my life's work, I offer in-person tutoring lessons in reading, writing and word study to Kindergarten through 8th grade students who need additional support.

I offer 2x45 minute sessions/week, Each 45 minute session is $60. The length of each tutoring cycle is 6 weeks. Payment by Venmo for the full cycle is due before lessons begin. There will be no refunds unless I can replace a student mid tutoring cycle. The first session will be assessment of where your child is in their literacy learning.

To set your student up for success, an introductory meeting to acclimate parents to their support role will be scheduled prior to first session once your sessions have been confirmed.
